GeeCoolThe 12900T games without issue: 8 P-cores with high boost, and gaming rarely maxes the power budget anyway, so it feels nearly identical to a 12900. Pair it with a good GPU and 1080p/1440p are easy.
Its problem isn't gaming — it's availability and price. It barely sells at retail and mostly lives in branded prebuilts. If you already want that specific SFF or mini PC with a 12900T, it's a fine game box; but for a fresh build, a non-T 12700K or 12900K with a proper board gives you more headroom for similar money.
