GeeCoolThe 185H is soldered to the laptop board, so evaluate the whole machine rather than picking a motherboard. Focus on whether memory is soldered, whether a second M.2 slot exists, USB4/Thunderbolt count, GPU TGP, and sustained CPU power.
If memory isn't upgradeable, buy the capacity you need up front. A lower GPU TGP than similarly-specced laptops affects the experience more than port count. Once you have it, test the same task in balanced and performance modes; if the gain is under 5% while fans and power draw rise clearly, stay on balanced for daily use.
