GeeCoolOnly the chart is outdated, not the workload. Its 33 TOPS NPU still handles meeting backgrounds, denoise, captions and OCR reliably, 16 cores with VNNI at a 4.8GHz boost run short small-model inference, and dual-channel DDR5 up to 96GB holds up its end. In the light-AI tier it has not aged out.
A budget buyer who wants the full everyday mobile AI set should keep a well-priced veteran unit on the list. Anyone chasing the newest software features and a larger NPU belongs on newer platforms. When weighing the old-timer, ask which chassis it sits in and how much memory it has — the chip has not aged, but the machine may have.
