How many cores and threads does Core Ultra 5 135U have, and is it suitable for gaming and video editing in a laptop?

12 cores and 14 threads, but only 2 are actual performance cores. Fine for office work, browser multitasking, and light creation — that's the clear positioning.

If encoding, rendering, or large builds run continuously, choose enough memory, a thicker thermal design, and a laptop that sustains power in plugged-in performance mode. The U suffix doesn't guarantee long-run performance; that's the chronic weakness of thin-and-lights.
