The Ultra 5 125H trades 0.1GHz of boost for a lower price — does its 33-TOPS AI shrink along with it?

The 125H shares Meteor Lake's laptop design with the 135H: 14 cores/18 threads, 18MB of L3 and AI Boost rated near 33 TOPS on both, split only by a 4.5GHz versus 4.6GHz boost. AI mostly leans on the NPU and memory bandwidth, so a 0.1GHz CPU delta barely carries through — 33 TOPS stays 33 TOPS.

Choosing the 125H is refusing to pay for frequency you won't use: AI lands in the same tier as the 135H, and spending the difference on RAM or an SSD lifts small-model and RAG feel more than any clock step would. Only pure CPU grind can taste that 0.1GHz, and that buyer was never shopping the H-series entry anyway.
