GeeCoolThe 10940X pulls ~165W under load (unlockable higher), and LGA2066 cooler brackets don't match modern mainstream sockets — you need a 2066-compatible mount. With quad-channel memory installed, a tower cooler shouldn't block the DIMM slots.
Gaming runs it cool; rendering is where it wakes up. Old-platform trap: many AIOs from that era have aged pumps and radiators — on a used system, replace the AIO or switch to air. After building, run a render stress and tune fans from the temperature data.
